The Sheepdog's Calling

We are not wolves. We are not sheep. We are sheepdogs. The world needs protectors.

We are not wolves. We are not sheep. We are sheepdogs.

The world needs protectors. Men who stand between the innocent and those who would do harm. This is not about violence. It is about readiness. It is about courage. It is about duty.

A sheepdog does not seek conflict. But he does not run from it either. He trains. He prepares. He watches. When danger comes, he acts. He does not hesitate. He cannot afford to.

This calling is biblical. Psalm 82:4 commands us: "Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." We are called to protect. We are called to serve. We are called to stand guard.

The sheep may not understand. They live peaceful lives. They do not see the wolves at the edge of the field. That is good. That is how it should be. The sheepdog sees. The sheepdog knows. The sheepdog stands ready.

Train your body. Train your mind. Train your spirit. Be ready. Be capable. Be faithful. This is the warrior's path. This is the protector's burden. This is the sheepdog's calling.
